Overview
McWilliams is looking for a Customer Service Representative to be the first voice our customers hear. You'll handle incoming calls, schedule service appointments, and keep our field teams running smoothly and efficiently. This is an in-office role with a set weekday schedule — no nights, no weekends, no on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally

- Respond to customer questions about services, scheduling, and billing

What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance and service calls as directed by dispatch
- Arrive on time to your first call each day and keep every customer updated with accurate ETAs
- Use the expectation card on arrival to walk the customer through what to expect during the call
- Complete a thorough inspection of the plumbing system on every call, following the evaluation checklist and notifying the customer of any issues found
- Present clear, tiered (ABC) repair and replacement options based on the customer's wants and needs
- Share information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvements
- Debrief with dispatch after each call and communicate any parts used for replenishment
- Follow the PO process for non-truck-stock parts to ensure accurate pricing and a high rate of warm-call completions
- Keep your vehicle stocked, accurately inventoried, clean, and safe — and pass quarterly vehicle inspections
- Return defective warranty parts and unused inventory to the branch
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including checklists and hours/materials used
- Maintain a professional image in company-approved uniform at all times
- Participate in company training and follow all safety policies, reporting any safety concerns to a manager or team leader

Plumbing Field Sales & Service Technician

The Plumbing Field Sales & Service Technician is responsible for sales growth by helping customers find the best plumbing solutions for their homes. This position sells plumbing services, repair work, replacement options, and maintenance agreements directly to customers at their homes or businesses. Success is measured by technical proficiency, customer satisfaction, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
This is a senior role. In addition to running calls, the technician will help train, coach, and support the other plumbers on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations and present plumbing solutions to homeowners with the objective of closing sales for:
- Water heater replacement (tank and tankless systems)
- Plumbing system upgrades (water softeners, filtration systems, pressure-regulating solutions, recirculation systems)
- Whole-home water quality and purification solutions
- Plumbing maintenance memberships / service agreements
- Present options, pricing, and financing; obtain signed contracts.
- Prospect new business through field-based activities.
- Train, coach, and support other plumbers — ride-alongs, backup on tough calls, and sharing expertise to bring the team up. (Core expectation for this role.)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the solutions sold are delivered and installed correctly.
- Perform non-invasive visual assessments (equipment age/condition, basic comfort survey, measurements, photos) to support solution design and quoting.
- Prepare reports and maintain materials.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing needs with a high level of accuracy as needed.

Qualifications
- High-experience, senior-level plumber with the ability to mentor others.
- 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
- 1–2 years of in-home plumbing sales experience preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
